Augustiner am Stadtplatz

atmospheric Bavarian bierhalle on the picturesque main square of burghausen. the workers, in the regulation Bavarian fashion, are drawn out in leather pants and dirndls. I enjoyed my nürnberger sausages and potato salad, augustiner caught beer and a glass riesling. €21.80 for one.

Visited this place with friends last week. Friendly staff, even if it was packed, food was tasty enough. Unfortunately it can be pretty noisy outside as the street over the bridge to the Austrian side of the Salzach river goes right next to the outdoor...sitting area.

delicious and different bavarian specialties served in a great portiion for a person. the location is wonderful in the middle of the city, but a kind of hard to park a car if you can taste a dessert.

a restaurant in the old town. on a beautiful day it is great to sit outside. good food and cheap. plus is part that they do not close the afternoon and also accept debit card payment.
