We've passed this establishment many times for years, not giving it much thought. Until one day, we decided to give it a try due to the positive reviews we saw on Google. I went to dine in with my family and we all agreed that this place makes some of the best fish and chips around!The prices are fair, quality of food is good, portions are above average, and the service is very friendly. I love a good fish and chip. And I got a very good fish and chip at Austin Fish. The restaurant itself is very simple. You can order takeout at the counter or take a seat and order off the menu. The room itself is very simple. Think fast food, fish and chips. But the menu is very extensive with a number of options. I ordered the halibut and cod. The fish and chips came out piping hot as were the fries, and the coleslaw wasn’t bad either. We all enjoyed our fish and chips and we would definitely return. The fish and chips here are very good. It seems like a family run place and it shows in the food. Ignore the odd strip mall location.

First time has been to this restaurant. WOW! The portion was great and the food was fresh. The fish piece was huge! I love it so much. My recommendation is ICE TEA! Please try this restaurant's iced tea. It is homemade and gourmet refreshing iced tea. Definitely will add on my fav restaurant. ?????

Loved this place. Huge portions, good value for the price. The staff on tonight were fantastic and super friendly. Food was quick, hot and fresh. Will go back for sure. We dined in, but tons of take out orders were coming in. Great local place!

Ordered Halibut and Cod with fries. Thought it was okay. The batter was crispy and light. Extra cost for tartar which tasted like mayonnaise only. Service was good.
