Aux Ancelles - Reservar uma mesa

We visited this lovely restaurant for a late lunch and had booked inside which was nice and cosy. Welcoming, efficient and friendly service. Good beer, nice wine by the glass and excellent omelettes. Just what we wanted. One of our friends had the plat du jour meat dish which he said was delicious. Make sure you have room for their puddings. On leaving, the older lady (owner? encouraged us to stop in the tented area where she poured small glasses of a frothy bubbles which she told us to drink in one go Santé!

We are here five years and remembered a perfect boeuf bourgignon. Recent trips lived up to the charmed memory! Ate here five times this winter, with skiing areas decided by our ability to get here for lunch. Each was great so can recommend aforesaid boeuf, onion soup, amazing salads, venison, omelettes and pasta with ceps and chanterelles. It's deservedly busy so worth booking.

I'm a really aficionada of this place. The food and the service are great. They try to accommodate you even when is full... be patient, really worth it! My favorite food there : soupe à l'oignons, tarte meringuée citron and le plate du jour is always great.

Tried Les Ancelles for the first time and were able to sit in the large heated tent. Hit the end of lunch hour but good and service were both good. Will go back again now that we've found it.

We stopped for a ski break and enjoyed a good and reasonably priced lunch. Their specialty is crozets.
