Aux Berges de Bougard

On a rather grey Sunday, we had been attending a nearby "vide greniers", and decided to stop at the restaurant for a meal on our way back. There is ample parking space at the opposite side of the road. The place is not very nice...from the front, but it has a lovely terrace (at least when the weather is nice), that overlooks the nearby small river and walkway. When the weather is bad however, they close most of the terrace with plastic etc. The place was occupied mostly by extended families with children, and everybody seemed to be having an excellent time. We had dinner during our trip along the canal. We were the only geustes but were made to feel very welcome The pancakes and gallets are s erved nice and hot and there is a wide choice of possible fillings for savory pancakes and sweet...pancakes. The service is pleasant, professional and attentive. The menu on their website dose not do justice to the offerings avaiable, the choice is excellent. The table on the veranda overlooking the canal was pleasant and bright in the evening.

we had dinner during our trip along the canal. we were the only ones, but were very welcome to feel the pancakes and gallets are beautiful and hot carved and there is a large selection of possible fillings for hearty pancakes and sweet. pancakes of the service is pleasant, professional and attentive. the menu on their website dose not just the offered avaiable, the choice is excellent. the table on the veranda with view of the canal was pleasant and bright in the evening.

It was difficult to find somewhere to eat on a Sunday evening but this restaurant was recommended. The hosts were very welcome, even though I was only one in restaurant and produced an super meal that was excellent value.
