Baby Duke's Kitchen

I really wanted to like this place, but after trying 3 times, each time was a disappointment.First, let me say the food is decent, the atmosphere is comfortable, and the staff is very friendly.The first time I went there, I ordered a side of Mac and Cheese with my entree, but it wasn't served until I was almost finished with my meal. The second time, I asked for more soda and after waiting 15 minutes, during which our server came to our table multiple times to remove dishes from the table, we asked for the bill. The soda was served after I had already paid. The third time, I ordered the steak and eggs, medium rare and the steak was well done. I asked for more soda again, and after waiting 15...

This was our first visit as a little one. Wasn't unsure if we had to wait to be seated or if we can sit ourselves. As soon as we sat down, the efficiency of the whole experience was great. We received glasses of water and amazing cornbread with honey while we waited to place our order. The food was delicious. The crab cakes were delicious as well as the creamy Cajun pasta. The kid cheeseburger and fries are definitely kid approved. Ate every last bite and was full. We arrived before the start of karaoke. It was fun listening to everyone sing. The music wasn't obnoxiously loud. We were still able to hear the songs but hear each other in conversation. We will definitely be back to visit again!...

The atmosphere was great, and my server Glen was amazing! For starters we tried the Baby Duke's Clams Casino and it was delicious! For the main course, we had the Broiled Salmon, yellow rice, and mixed vegetables and the Shrimp Scampi Linguine both dishes were a hit! A perfect balance, they were out of cornbread when we were there. I also enjoyed the Passion Fruit Frozen Margarita. Four of us ate here last night. The young man waiting on us was wonderful. Very helpful and efficient. The appetizers were very good and the entrees were good. However, all four of us had food poisoning (dizzy and upset stomachs) when we arrived home. Something is not right in the kitchen. Will not return.

The food was good just not what we care for. The atmosphere was nice. The staff was friendly. The wait time for the food was a bit long even though the restaurant wasn't crowded when we arrived.
