Babycat Brewery - Reservar uma mesa

I recently visited Baby Cat Brewery at the North Beach First Friday event. First off, the beer was a major letdown. Every variety I tried tasted flat and lifeless, as if it had been sitting out for far too long. The flavors were bland and one-dimensional, lacking the complexity or freshness you expect from a craft brewery. To make matters worse, the owner clearly didn’t prioritize customer service. Instead of being welcoming, they were aloof and dismissive. (He should probably just hang out in the back somewhere away from customers) Any questions or concerns were met with indifference, leaving a bad taste long after the beer. They never answer their phone, no matter what day of the week or what time you call, and they never return messages that you leave on their voicemail, even days later. Can't even figure out whether it would be welcoming for me with my particular situation because they don't care enough to be bothered to answer the phone or call me back...

A charming and cheeky brewery offering plenty of superb options and welcoming vibes. Their draft selection is superb they even had some ‘side pull’ options available. I’d suggest the Czech lager hit all the right notes. There was even live music when we were there. Looking forward to trying the food on a return visit.

This place has a great atmosphere and outdoor patio with a play place for kids. I ordered a little smash burger with no sides, which was tasty and a great size for those that don’t need a huge meal. There was live music, which was very nice. It was my first time here but I imagine I’ll be back.

Beer is good and I love the theme but we went after 8 on a Saturday night and it was basically a playground for kids to run and scream while parents ignored them. Not a welcoming environment for childless adults.
