Baekjeong Buena Park

Baekjeong has always been on my bucket list of places to visit since their locations in Irvine and Temple City. I've always heard great things about it, and that it was a la carte versus AYCE made it even more tempting to try. We were quoted with a wait time of 45 minutes, but we were seated in 15 minutes which was great. Our table of 6 ordered a beef combo and pork combo along with two sojus and lunch boxes. We started with side dishes, and the kimchi was tasty. The salads, bean sprouts, and mashed potatoes were also good. Friendly service. Other than that: the side dishes tasted like dirty kitchen rags. The table had cup strains from the previous customers. The grill had left over cheese and corn. I get that this place gets busy, but please not forget to clean after every customer. They say that the kitchen reflects the cleanliness of the bathroom. The bathroom was disgusting like some low class night club with trash everywhere. Walked by the kitchen with trash all over the place. Please watch over your staff and better care of your restaurant. Not worth your money .

I was astonished with my initial experience at the Irvine Baekjeong but I was very impressed with this Buena Park last night. This restaurant was beyond packed on a Tuesday night so that should tell you something. My group of 4 ordered 1 combination that had half pork and half beef. My girlfriend is allergic to pork so she was extremely happy with the beef offerings. She also adored the egg soup which our waiter had to refill the holder three times.

I do recommend this place for Korean BBQ—it’s truly exceptional. However, a word of caution regarding their gift card and Front Line Pass policy: I found that the specific terms and conditions were not clearly communicated. My experience was marred when my cards were discarded without explanation (no permission they just grabbed my cards), which I felt was quite abrupt and discourteous. So the pork was good but the intestines are old overcooked and too chewy. The worst part was the service, the server was really pushy, used his intercom in front of us even his fingers to give gesture and told the front to print out the check when we didn’t even finish our food. It was a Friday night, but there were still few tables available and no one was waiting to be seated.

Came for my brother Davids birthday. We got sat and then Ethan introduce himself to us. Fantastic service while handling our table of 12 and another table of 8. Ethan didn't miss a bit and was always there when we needed something. 11/10 service, we had an amazing birthday meal.

I've been to other Baekjang locations, but this was our first time here. We ordered the small beef combo, which comes with soybean or kimchi soup. The meat was delicious, and the soybean soup we chose was very tasty. We'll be bringing our family next time.
