Baked And Battered

I absolutely love this fish and chip shop in Weybridge! I'm quite particular about my chips, but theirs are just perfect, and the portion sizes are generous. The fish is incredibly delicious too. It seems they have made some significant improvements recently, as the quality of the food is now consistently excellent, and they no longer charge the 50p fee for card payments. During our last visit on Saturday, I found the staff to be very polite and friendly.

I decided to try a different approach tonight, as the young staff members were back yesterday. I ordered the steak and kidney pie, as well as the steak and ale pie. Let me tell you, if you love pies, you will be in pie heaven! It’s been a long time since I've had such a delicious pie, and I could tell they weren't made in-house. Overall, it was a mixed experience, but the pies definitely stood out.

Absolutely amazing! I'm currently dreaming about the delicious cod with its perfectly golden batter. On Friday night, we had cod, squid with chips, and some calamari. The restaurant was bustling, both inside and in the takeout section, which I always take as a sign of excellent food. Without a doubt, we will make the trip back for their fantastic dishes!
