I come here with my vegetarian girlfriend all the time and even though they modify some of my favourite dishes so that it doesn't contain any meat or seafood they still taste amazing!<br/ <br/ My favourites are the tofu goreng, the eggplant (I die), and the green beans. I have had the rendang beef, skewers, Roti canai, and Assam curry tofu and vegetables and they're all delicious! The black cod is amazing as well. I wasn't too crazy about the lettuce wrap though.<br/ <br/ The only reason I didn't give Banana leaf a perfect score is because the service is pretty inconsistent. It isn't spectacular but sometimes the servers disappear so it's hard to get their attention if you need something and...

Alright. So I feel like after having blogged for the past year I’ve built up a bit of a rapport with my readers, and that you guys deserve honesty from me. So here’s my honesty: I’m writing this blog drunk. I’d rather be sleeping (or eating McDonalds), but Drunken Master texted me 30 minutes ago telling me it was my turn to write a blog, and I didn’t feel like arguing with him, so here I am. Thankfully, I actually did go out for a meal today (the hardest part about writing for a blog is actually eating out enough), so I have something to write about. My best friend (Bits) returned to town yesterday for the holidays. Her old supervisor organized a lab lunch with her old co-workers, and was gr...

Pretty standard meal for a vegetarian. I like how they have several vegetarian options for us and they can make a dish vegetarian if you ask the chefs to. The decor inside is very nice and comfy wiry some palm trees and nice painted glass stained walls. The food was yummy, however I thought they should've given us more lettuce in the lettuce wrap appetizer since they only have us 4 leaves and it was $14. The roti canai was also alright, though I was surprised the curry was sweet. Service was alright, though they never refilled our glasses of water or asked if our meal was okay.

Roti Canai <br/ It is one of my favourite appetizers compared to their spring rolls. The currr sauce really compliments the roti<br/ <br/ Pineapple Seafood Friedrice <br/ It is ok. Not really flavourful but usually a go to for most people and it looks good I guess. Would recommend their Nasi Goreng instead.<br/ <br/ Litchi mint drink <br/ Super refreshing especially during a nice sunny day. Give it a go. Will NOT REGRET it. Reserve uma mesa agora

This was one of the few places still open for late dinner. We ordered pineapple fried rice, roti Canai, chicken satay and sayur lemak which is essentially vegetable curry. All the dishes were pretty good, though one should not expect them to be authentic Malaysian taste-wise. Still good in their own right.

I went to a Malaysian restaurant in Vancouver, one of four locations in the city. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by a friendly host who carefully checked for COVID-19 precautions.

It has been a while since I last visited Banana Leaf, but I was pleased to see that it is still open. The staff was welcoming and the tables were set up following safety guidelines... Reserve uma mesa agora

The appetizer had a good variety of options. My younger sister ordered laksa and I got a Mai Tai.
