Bar Pizzeria la Terrasse

On a driving holiday through Europe, we stopped overnight at the Chateau a few minutes walk away from this little restaurant. This was the closest place to our accommodation for a meal and the owner of the Chateau recommended it. Our French is not very good, so we opted for the simple choice of Steak Frites, which was on the specials board, and a glass of red wine. Our waitress did not speak much English, but we were able to communicate with the little French we knew and with hand gestures. Having travelled all day we arrived at the Chateau and decided we did not want to drive further for dinner. This pizzeria was close and we decided to take a risk. Delicious pizzas , enjoyed our wine and great coffee. Service was delightful even though our language barriers were big.We sat in the courtyard and had a wonderful evening.
