Barbara's Home Cookin

I've been eating at Barbara since 2009. I've never had a bad experience. I went with some others in my part of three and was immediately greeted by a young waitress who asked if I had a reservation. Since when do you need a reservation at Barbara 's? We've always gotten up and sit on every table we want. Apparently it didn't seem to bother her that we had no reservations and that she had to find us a table to sit. She said she had to sit us. She said she should go the round table in the distance. We sat at the table and then she came here and told us to move to the other round table. Loved! Do you feel like home? In this restaurant you will find cosy dishes. As soon as I entered the parking lot, you will notice that the parking lot is not asphalted as the rest I love. You'll notice that the restaurant looks like someone's house. When you meet the hostess, you will let you know which tables are available depending on the size of your party. Once you sit your waitress, you will stop and order a few free bread and butter as well as your drinks. While waiting for your drinks, if this is your first visit, you want the menu on the wall, it will have listed everything they do. You simply choose and choose what you want for your meal. I had the chicken fried steak. That was excellent. The fried okra was also very good but the macaroni and cheese was only OK. I would go back for the food except for the fact that the service was terrible. We waited quite a long time for our food. The people who were seated and ordered after we did, received their food first. When I asked about it the waitress told me it takes longer to cook chicken fried steak. That might be true but the woman who was served before us also had chicken fried steak. So either they gave that table our food or I don?t know. The service continued to be terrible. Good food, little high. Run out of that stuff so it's coming early. Opens 11 am to 2 pm. Rolls? But the waitress didn't check with us, so I had to go and pay attention. We were there at 1:30, so they weren't Slammed.

A friendly atmosphere - they serve home south kitchen. Your yeast rolls are the biggest! You made delicious home? Desserts. Too!
