Barclays Cafe - Reservar uma mesa

After being a regular customer for three years I recently had the misfortune of having to deal with the owner. I was made aware that he was the owner as he told me a number of times. Rude arrogant no customer service skills. What should have seen a quiet and respectful conversation turned into a loud lecture delivered close to the front door for all to hear.Our family lunch was ruined. Our Barcleys experience over. Never to return.

I haven't been to Barclay's for a few months. The cafe was lovely and warm in front of the gas fire. As always the staff were friendly and professional. I tried the shakshuka off the breakfast menu for lunch. Spicy beans with chorizo. Perfect for a cold day. Never disappointed. I'll be back

Quite possibly the worst service I've recieved at a cafe.If you've got a bunch of time to waste waiting, waiting and waiting a bit more for some service and average food then pop on down. Won't be back. Except maybe for a take away coffee if I've got 20 minutes to kill while waiting for it.

Good value cafe, and had an all day breakfast, which I ordered off given the limited appeal of the lunch menu. The granola was good, but was a small serving with not much fruit. Wouldn't rush back and wouldn't avoid it either.

The coffee here is great and the menu has quite a few choices for gluten free eating. The food was nice and I would definitely eat here again.
