we heard that they celebrate their 1 year jubilee with some price specialties. we were in the opposite, so we stopped. it is very clean, the personal was friendly and it was busy so that that was a good sign. they have many seasonal...beers they offer bagd pulpits and cracker as a food, no hot food is served. we saw 2 tables that had put in their own dishes of food and nobody seemed to think. we ordered the glitter ipa as well as a flight of their experimental animals. I enjoyed the ipa, my son loved some of the beers, some of whom he wasn't too fond of. if you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy some local craft beer, this is the place for them. Barnhammer has a great atmosphere. The decor is that of an old barn that you would see in anywhere in Manitoba. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the products they sell and they (the beers) are all actually brewed on site.The seating style is long wooden tables and tall stools which encourage patrons to sit together and has a communal feel.Their products can either be sampled in flytes, pints, by the growler or purchased in pre filled bottles.They dont sell food but you are able to bring your own or order in. This is a really nice touch and is essentially the icing on the cake.

barn hammer meets all the right notes, especially with regard to the tasting. her Russian imperial stout is the nectar of the gods and zaren alike. this is a comfortable, friendly “local” that will happen to be the best of winnipeg’s new craft brewery (and yes, I tried...they are all) they have a deep offer of seasonal and test approaches and the space is beautiful. make sure to ask about the history of the brand or ask her bartender to break out a knabber board.

large local brewery could be the best in winnipeg. beautiful side street from the harbour with lots of parking on the street and they are a lot. Love the black season and the red. wife loves that it is one of the only ipas in the city with true...funk keeps it on youngs.
