Barrel33 - Reservar uma mesa

I recently saw a newspaper ad announcing that Barrel 33 is closing. I decided to stop by for Sunday brunch. The menu was small and the restaurant was moderately busy. The wait staff was efficient. I ordered Eggs Benedict and Toffels, which are small potato pancakes with toppings. The noise level in the restaurant was extremely high, making it difficult to have a conversation. The food arrived quickly, with the Eggs Benedict receiving good reviews, although the hash browns were unevenly cooked. The Toffels, one with egg and one with pulled pork, were bland. I decided to check out this restaurant for drinks and appetizers one evening. They offered a great selection of craft beers in their bistro/bar and the food was fantastic. I tried their oysters on Thursdays and got 6 of them, which reminded me of being in Hilton Head despite the snowy weather outside. The scotch egg I ordered was also delicious, and our bartender was friendly and well-informed.

I went to the inaugural comedy night last night and had an extremely enjoyable time. The food was delicious, the drinks were icy cold, and the service was outstanding. The comedians were hilarious and we will definitely be returning next month. Comedy Night takes place on the last Tuesday of June, July, and August. Make sure to reserve your spot in advance.
