Basic Urban Kitchen

Was trying to find a place in the area that would take just over 20 of us (half kids) after a cheer competition. Many places wouldn’t take that size, or kids, but with just a couple hours notice, they blocked off an area for us and took great care of us all. Speedy, friendly service. Pizza was great and surprisingly reasonably priced. Atmosphere was great as well. Will for sure return next time in town. Great white pizza, and the mashed potato and bacon pizza was a good and fun pizza to try. Kids loved the cheese and pepperoni.

I drove to SD from LA for a concert last month and stayed at an Airbnb. This restaurant was recommended by my host as their favorite pizza place in San Diego. I am so happy I listened to my host because this place was fantastic. The pizza was delicious! I ordered a 'small ' pizza but me and my date could not finish it in one sitting! The taste was 10/10 and so was the atmosphere. They have a pool table and great sitting throughout. If you 're in the area, definitely give this place a try for a pizza and a cocktail.

I had a group art show at this place planned by ThumbUp Gallery. During the show, my husband and I had dinner at here, we noticed here's style is very similar to URBN in north park. I think I'm pretty sure they are the same owner. We loved URBN, their pizza is huge and they taste amazing in a very reasonable price. We ordered 4 maggio, it was 4 cheese, which is amazing. I highly recommend this one if you are a cheese lover. Their salad is delicious and very cheap. $5 for a small one. It's impressive.

I LOVE this place!!! I found it participating in art shows with Thumbprint Galleries(pictured 2 of my pieces I showed last time! THE PIZZA!!! I like to get the white chicken pizza, the J Street, with Mashed potatoes added!! Thats right MASHED POTATOES. So bomb, The So Meaty is good too. All the pizzas are thin, but crispy, and HUGE!!! They taste of fire and goodness!

Arguably the best pizza in San Diego. Highly recommended! Very cool atmosphere too! Quasi open with a big garage door and a really high ceiling. Pool tables. Great bartenders and service too! I love this place.
