The pastries and baked goods here are definitely delicious, but I can’t help feeling like I’m being taken advantage of. Charging $3.00 for an average-sized cookie feels excessive. A small almond tart costs $5.00, and if I remember correctly, a pecan pie was around $35-38. While I might stop in occasionally for a special treat, it’s frustrating to feel like I’m being ripped off as someone who’s working hard. I often go to Whole Foods, where I can spend $12.00 a pound on a great selection of butter cookies and leave with a bag full of goodies and a sense of satisfaction.

Here 's a copy of the email I sent to the owner of Batch Bakehouse.Just now, at about 1pm on 2/23/23, I visited Batch Bakehouse for the first time. (In my defense, I 've lived in Madison for only about 15 months!)I was blown away. Your place is bright, clean, and happy. I could hear fabulous old guy rock playing in the back. Your baked goods all looked wonderful. I can 't wait to get home to dig into them.And the icing on the cake was the amazing service from Kaya. You can 't teach people skills like she has, you have to hire them. With Kaya, you hired well.Nice work!

I can’t praise Batch enough. Everything I’ve tried here has been absolutely outstanding. I’m convinced their bakers are hiding a secret—they must be magical beings from a whimsical, sugary realm! I can only dream of one day visiting that world and spending my days wrapped in a perfectly crafted Chocolate-Almond Croissant cocoon. Thank you, Batch and team, for being amazing! <3

Ive never had an experience this good at a bakery. I went a little crazy and got a lot! It was delicious and fresh. I got a valentines day mini chocolate cake, iced sugar cookie, shortie cookies and a cinnamon roll. The shortie cookies were the BEST cookies ive ever had, an unexpected wow item for me. Rich chocolate cake.. 10 stars if I could Reserve uma mesa agora

Batch Bakehouse is always a treat to go to. In fact, it's probably a good thing we live clear across town, as too many treats would be a problem. Their bake goods are gorgeous to look at, wonderful to eat. I just wish they'd start baking challah again. Their challahs are almost as good as mine...

I love Batch Bakehouse. Friendly service and beatiful bakery that tastes amazing. I order pastries for business meetings and Batch has been consistently great to work with. A smooth online ordering system, fair pricing and our clients are always impressed.

I really love this place. I go whenever I can. It's a bit pricy, but you're paying for the attention and love they pour into every croissant. But can I ask a serious question? Are we supposed to tip our baker 20%?

Almond filled pastries, pain au chocolat. How can you go wrong. Don’t expect cheap prices but you will feel like you got a deal once you taste the deliciousness. My only regret is not being able to go more often. Reserve uma mesa agora

The pastries are outstanding, especially the sweet and savory options, and the baguettes are also delicious. However, finding parking can be difficult on Saturday mornings.

Absolutely loved this bakery, probably one of the best in Madison area. Their croissants just hit the spot!
