Bauböcks im Kaiserhof - Wilhelm Bauböck

Ich war heute im Baublocks essen, und zwar mit Geschäftspartnern.Das Restaurant im Zentrum von Ried lädt durch seine schöne Einrichtung ein. Schnell platziert wird man auch schon freundlich bedient, das Essen geht sehr schnell und das Ambiente ist wirklich sehr toll.Die Auswahl in der Speisekarte war sehr groß, von Tagesgerichten bis hin zu ausgefallenen Speisen.Gegessen haben wir gegrillte Putenstreifen auf Blattsalat sowie frischen, panierten Spargel. Beides schmeckte vorzüglich und ein perfekter Espresso zum Abschluss krönte dieses Mittagessen.Danke für die freundliche Bedienung und weiterhin alles Gute!

Despite the good choice, excellent food and central location, I would not come back as the smoking area (bar) is not separated (open wall sections) from the restaurant and all the bad smell disturbs a lot. The restaurant needs a proper separation from smokers to avoid the disgusting atmosphere. Hope that the Austrian lawmakers will quickly implement the smoking ban in restaurants as other civilized nations too!

I ordered the Garlic Scampi mixed salad and got a few leaves of lettuce, cucumber and few tomato then pan fried scampi with no garlic. The staff just took the plate when I told them I was unsatisfied and offered no help, just shrugged her shoulders and was gone. €17.95 for a plate of disappointment. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Traditionell eingerichteter Dorfwirt. Hatte ein Spargelgericht, welches gut zubereitet war. Die Preise sind allerdings für einen Wirten dieser Klasse überzogen.
