Bearwaters Brewing Company: Riverside

Usually great food but tonight the food really sucked on all aspects of the meal.Seems like they overcooked everything in burnt oil. my wife's Braut was on a hotdog bun and the menu clearly says that it should be on a Hogie Roll. The cheese for the soft pretzel that should have been melted and warm was cold and hard. My Daughter in-laws Chicken breast sandwich with the fixings was just a burnt chicken tender on a bun with no fixings. Very disappointing. ended up taking the Grandkids to McDonalds for a meal that they could at least eat. I paid the bill and tip because it wasn't the server's fault only the cook's. Not sure if I'll eat there again.

How long is appropriate to stand in the open doorway looking for someone to serve you? The place was only 1/3 full. I looked 3 different employees in the eye more than once and they kept on what they were doing without acknowledging our existence. The fella behind the bar was just standing there and when I made eye contact with him he just turned away. That's when I decided this place doesn't want my patronage or my money. We have just moved to the area and are looking for a regular watering hole with good food. It won't be this place.

Stiff Paddle is a good beer. I write this review, however, to recommend that BearWaters gets rid of the aquariums and set the turtles and fish FREE (this will open up more seating space which is a plus for business . The animals are miserable in there (how would you feel if you were trapped in a tiny space? . IT's time BearWaters SET the animals FREE!!

Good, not great. Good outside atmosphere with the river being right there. Beers are decent. They have a permanent food truck in house. My only gripe is they are very pricey and you are not getting a full pint with a pour. Pour a decent pour and price accordingly. It is not about being cheap it is about not just giving your money away. IMO

Definitely a great place to have a few beers and snacks but the food is not great! 8 of us ate there and 6 meals were burnt and inedible ,the food was definitely not as described on their menu.
