Beau d'Eau - Reservar mesa

With restaurants such as Tafelspitz Soehne across the town square from here, it's not an easy feat to convince diners to give the Beau d'Eau a try, but rather late on a quiet evening we did. There weren't many guests left, and the waitress...tended to out table promptly. We ordered, and the food arrived in record time. It wasn't bad, it wasn't great. The serving sizes could have been a tad more generous, but then again, other places might even try to feed you less. All in all, so far, the dining aspect didn't offer us reason for serious complaint, but also didn't entice us to return given that there are truly fantastic restaurants in the immediate vicinity. when we sat down, 1-2 bees were above our head and it was okay, we could handle it. the summer in Germany is normal with beeen. but when our drinks and food came, the beeen went crazy and had about 10-15 flying around us and drinking and eating. the people at other tables also tried to eat while fighting with the bees. all in all, we were at this place for about 10-15 minutes until we decided we can't eat. we have not even touched our foods or drinks when we were asked to pay for them. Let me ask you something. what if someone is allergic? do you just tell them not to move (as you told us) while 20 bees around them are? Why do they not simply recommend to go while they know the situation?

I ate here on a Tuesday evening and it was still warm enough in October to sit outside. There's 80 of so places outside next to the square. A pleasant place to sit even though you get the occasional car going past. The inside eating...area also looks good almost French cafe style, which might be expected by the name. I had an very good tomato soup if a little over salty for my taste. For mains I went for the chicken salad which came with a huge portion of chicken, so much so I took some away with me for a late night snack. The salad and chicken were excellent. The service was fine, if not tip-top, but again it adds to the Gallic atmosphere.

the place as beautiful ambiente with the small tables and pseudo-random table organization. the selection in the menu is large and there are also weekly specialties, so you should find something when it comes to breakfast, brunch, lunch, coffee or dinner. the service was friendly and everything worked smoothly. the minus comes from the food itself: it was quite good ground food, but both dishes were a bit dirty in taste, as something small was missing. We had dinner there on a Tuesday, but restaurant was quite full. The food was delicious, not very pricy, but the service -which was good was a bit slow (forgetting about bringing us the cards initially for the first 15 minutes or so). Good experience...overall

Great place to visit mid day, also dog friendly. Good food and excellent service. You can easily eat for 20 euros per person. They have quite a variety of food from breakfast to dinner dishes. There is also a bar to warm the bones

Relaxing atmosphere with a view of the square and great food. Enjoyed local beers and German wine. Filling dishes of foods typical of Germany. Large menu with many options for all tastes including vegetarians.

if you want to relax during a super hot day in the half-shake, enjoy a coffee or two. that's her place. they also offer beautiful looking eating.

Good choice of traditional German cuisine, Schwabenpfanne was excellent. Service quick and friendly. Definitely would return.
