Okay, so maybe this isn't worth five stars, but it was certainly MUCH better than the 2 1/2 stars it's showing. I was floored by how low the ratings are. We ordered takeout while we were hanging at the adult pool right outside of this restaurant. The food was ready in about 15 minutes. Each box was packaged very nicely with paper in the bottom to keep the boxes from getting soggy. My Santa Fe Salad was tasty with plenty of seasoned chicken and two containers of poblano dressing. The lettuce was a mix of romaine, spinach, and arugula. It was fresh and crunchy. My wife had the veggie rice bowl and gobbled it down. While I didn't think the food was spectacular (it was good! , what made this experience great was our amazing waiter. I went to the restaurant at the resort with my two aunts, Mom, and grandma. This was the final day of our girls mini vacation, and Glenn, our waiter, was amazing!!! He was very personable and entertaining. We all said we wish we could take him with us and have him serve us at every restaurant! He certainly was an awesome way to end our trip. When we asked for a photo of all of us, we certainly weren't mad when he joined in! As for the food, my meal and everyone else's was pretty good. The boom boom shrimp was very good! Hey folks you're in a resort. It's not going to be cheap and you should know that before you even walk in. We come here regularly because we stay at the Tradewinds and you can't beat it for location. They have a decent selection of beers and they always show hockey on the TVs to keep the Canadian tourists happy. Food is OK, nothing spectacular but they give you a decent meal without any fuss. We had a burger, one of their bowls (lots of cheese if you like that) and the California turkey sandwich (my wife said it was very good). Fries were good as was the house salad. I've stopped in this restaurant twice to eat. Once for lunch and once for dinner. I thought the food and service was good both times. For lunch I ordered a burger and it was very good. I'd definitely get one again. I also had the boom boom shrimp appetizer and the potatoes skin dish. (Which was very similar to nachos. . I was very happy with all my selections. This location is right off the beach and even has outdoor seating available. I'm sure my family will b stopping in again during the next few days.

Didn't eat just sat at the bar. Wonderful bartender Ashley very nice. Good selection of beers. Bottle and draft. Looks like the traditional menu.
