Beefeater Tattenham Corner

Visited the Beefeater at Tattenham Corner for the third time (in six years) to give it another chance, as previous visits had been awful. We booked a table, arrived on time. The attitude of our waiter was so negative upon arrival, that I wish we had turned around and gone elsewhere. We were eventually given menus. He came to take our orders 25 mins after arriving, telling us for will be at least 30-45 mins. Our drinks arrived 45 mins after we got there. We were close to leaving at that stage. Food eventually arrived. We had asked for the steaks to be medium, they arrived well done, as had been sitting on the pass for quite a while (we didn't send back for fear we would be waiting another hal...

Brilliant waitress, Gaynor .... the only one on duty .... it was a very busy lunch and she coped exceptionally well, extremely professional .... she had an impossible task dealing with so many tables .... it was so unfair for her and yet she never moaned at all .... she was incredibly good!! However, there were 4 of us and cannot say the chefs' standards were anywhere near as good .... two of the meals came to us virtually cold .... we then had to wait around 10/15 minutes for fresh hot food!! Sorry but totally unacceptable .... we were sitting waiting for our meals while the other two had virtually finished theirs!! Won't be coming again as we were not even offered a discount for the first...

Me and my friend lunched here on a Saturday and had a wonderful time. We both had steaks with various sides and all the food we had was perfect, we could not fault anything, lovely cocktails and desserts. All the staff were friendly and our waitress Betty did a wonderful job of looking after us, she had good product knowledge served us perfectly and chatted with us. We are definitely going back and next time we will try the burgers

Another lovely meal at the Beefeater, Tattenham Corner. Mains ordered included haddock chips, salmon chips, sirloin steak chips the mixed grill. Drinks ordered were a cold bottle of wild berry Rekorderlig cider 3 unlimited diet cokes. We shared 2 chocolate churros sundae as well. The food service was fantastic.

For a mid Sunday afternoon it was very quiet and they had already taken roast lunches off of the menu. Alternative meals were fine but probably a sign of the times that what should be their signature dish had already gone
