The location is good when it comes to having good views of the fortress of La Mota. But it is true that parking is practically nil in the area, with narrow streets. We went to dinner with a reservation at one of their tables on the terrace. We ordered a salad (large with cheese, tomato... , several toasties (one with cheese and walnuts and another with serranito (they were good but a little small a hamburger (with a side of potatoes We ordered two rounds of drinks. Service a little slow but everyone is very friendly Quality price somewhat high for the site and quality The lighting in general is somewhat poor The views are very good
Went for dinner, the view of Alcala and La Mota is fantastic. I had the Angus beef burger, it was very good, the first lot of chips were very underdone, the second lot were good. The service was not so good, waiter seemed more interested in what appeared to be friends at another table. There were 6 of us, 4 had the burgers that arrived in reasonable time, the other 2 had pork and chicken that arrived after we had all finished. Beer was very good. Can't rate the rooms as didn't stay at the hotel.
Beer was good, I had the Angus Burger, which was good, chips that came with it, not so good. Was completely let down by the service and the fact that 2 of our party eventually got thier food when the rest of us had all finished ours. Views from the restaurant are fantastic. Hard to reach it with a car, very narrow streets. Simple rooms that have a common kitchen and common small living room. Too hot at summer time, about 38-40 degrees, and west looking as well. Our bathtub was too narrow to have a shower, but the view to the castle was great. Pedro speaks good English as well and he is very gentle.
