Beijing Bistro Chinese

As I write this review, I regret the fact that I didn't snap some photos to include along with it. There were 6 of us (3 couples) who met for dinner this past Saturday evening at Beijing Bistro. For most of us, this was our first time dining here. We arrived just before 6pm and were surprised that that place was initially empty. This was rather surprising given the fact it was a weekend dinner time slot, but perhaps not so surprising given the heatwave and the prospect that everyone was down at the beach. In any event, we ordered quite a bit of food that was to be shared amongst us all. The appetizers were mostly amazing. I would highly recommend the Crispy Creamy Spicy shrimp and Grand Marn...

Again and again, Beijing Bistro never disappoints! We all enjoyed our appetizers and dinners. Four guests had the sizzling pepper filet mignon ...perfectly prepared and presented on a sizzling platter! One had the sizzling pepper scallops and shrimp with peppers and onions. It was such a relaxing evening.... No rush as we sat and enjoyed our wine after dinner.... Another wonderful evening out at this fine restaurant!

It is such a shame that the quality of the food has gone down hill since it changed hands from Temple. We have tried a few times but this sealed the deal it was our last time! Service was fair as the place was empty on a Saturday night and the waitress only came by twice

We had a lovely time with outside seating,. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive! Try their tangerine beef, pork chow fun, chicken wrap appy! Huge shrimp and scallop dish is outstanding! A must try restaurant in Red Bank! Always consistently excellent!
