We were unsure if we should come in or not and were standing outside staring at the menu, but a couple who opened the door to come inside told us that this restaurant was the best in town. We took this recommendation seriously and entered Bengal. We met Jay and Saf. I hope I am not confusing, but it was Jay, who started a warm talk and made us feel like the most important guests. But in a while, we saw that every guest was the most important. What an excellent attitude! Absolutely superb! Food and service of the best quality! Would highly recommend and will definitely return next time we’re in York. Mabs, AJ, San and Ekon were the best hosts! Definitely went above and aboard to accommodate us!

Brilliant indian the food was excellent from starters through to the desserts.The staff were very friendly and helpful and it had a very cozy feeling.I would highly recommend a visit top quality.

Fabulous meal in this place. Tried dishes that I never would normally try and they were absolutely amazing. Staff are really friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend

Excellent food, severed professionally and diligently by Mabs, Saj, AJ and Ekon who looked after us wonderfully. Will def be back. Hot meant hot!
