This is a beautiful country pub, restaurant, and hotel. We enjoyed a delightful gathering in the lounge with refreshments that featured an excellent selection of sandwiches and rolls made with their own freshly baked bread, followed by delicious scones and jams. It’s definitely a place worth returning to for a full meal. The parking lot was quite crowded, indicating its popularity, so be prepared to find alternative parking options.

I had a delightful two-course lunch featuring squid followed by steak pie and mash for one person, while the other enjoyed herb-crusted cod on smashed new potatoes with lemon posset. Both dishes were beautifully prepared and served with a smile, all at a reasonable price in a charming traditional inn setting. I highly recommend this place! Service: 5 Location: 5

The restaurant features beautiful furnishings and incredible attention to detail. The food was outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate the various dietary needs of our party of ten. My only regret is that I live so far away. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make our first family gathering in three years so wonderful!

I had dinner there both nights, and the beef medallions were perfectly cooked and generously portioned. The vegetables were crisp and fresh. Overall, it was excellent pub fare—delicious and uncomplicated. Plus, they had beautiful homemade bread.

Good food, fair price, service good. Located on busy high street, give plenty of time to look for parking. There is car park back of venue but is small and we were lucky and got last space.

had a nice lunch with friends and my 10 months old son. the personal was just so beautiful and personal. the food was great and so tasteful. only correct “Pub grub” well done.

Best Ploughmans by far! Great staff and perfect pub garden for when the sun shines. Worth a family visit every time we are in town
