Big Eu'es Bbq - Reservar uma mesa

I live an hour away, but I had to make a trip to this restaurant. I was really looking forward to it, as I was quite hungry. This local BBQ spot has a soulful vibe, and I’m so glad I found it through Google. I ordered the pulled pork dinner, which came with two sides, broth, and a drink. The house BBQ sauce was fantastic on the pork. I couldn’t even take the cornbread and sweet tea home because they were that good! The tea was perfectly balanced in sweetness. I just had the brisket dinner, and overall it was quite good. The meat was tender, and the fat really held onto the flavor. I could have used a bit more sauce, but that was my own choice, so I won’t hold it against them. The beans weren’t really to my taste, but there was nothing wrong with them; I just prefer sweeter baked beans. However, the fried corn was excellent, and the cornbread was moist. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the ribs, and my fingers still smell like smoke—I'm not even sure I want to wash them! I definitely plan to come back.

I drove 25 minutes to get food, but unfortunately, it was a letdown. My partner ordered the ribs, which were chewy and undercooked. The baked beans tasted canned, while the potato salad was mushy. The green beans were overly bland. My cornbread was so crumbled that I couldn't even put butter on it. On a positive note, the chicken and rolls were very good. You never know until you try it, but overall, I was quite disappointed.

Everything was delicious! Both of the kids loved the BBQ, and we all enjoyed the sides! Absolutely tasty! The fried corn was amazing, and the garlic hot sauce was fantastic! We will definitely be coming back often! Thanks, Big Eu’e!
