Big Kahuna Wings West Town

I usually love coming to this place. 9 out of 10 times it’s fantastic. I often come here on my day off and I can’t lie. Today was a disappointment. Today I went into get my favorite sauces, but wasn’t getting any wings today. I sat at the bar and ordered a shot of Weller, Then waited 20 minutes to get my sauces. I tipped the bartender 50%. I get my sauces and take them home, When I go to try my favorite sauces, they are no longer a sauce. More of a hard paste. I was told that the expediter was struggling, but 20 minutes for sauces seems kind of ridiculous. The maple sauce that I can’t get enough of was the culprit of being pasty and weird. I would go back and ask for something different but...

I absolutely love the food at BKW, but the bar service leaves much to be desired. They might need to think about bringing in new management. This afternoon, the manager on duty spent a continuous 15 minutes chatting with an off-duty employee behind the bar while we sat there with empty drinks, and we were the only other customers at the bar besides that employee. During that time, the phone rang three times, there were unbussed empty tables, and numerous patrons around us were also left with empty drinks. It's really disappointing, especially since the food is truly excellent!

I ordered two sets of 10-piece wings and a side of fries for $52. The wings are dry-rubbed, and you can choose from a variety of sauces. My daughter and I each selected different sauce flights, but unfortunately, some of the sauces were duplicates. The waitress was quite inattentive, not very helpful, and slow to respond; it took a long time for our ketchup and ranch to arrive, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. The venue itself is beautiful and has a fun atmosphere. This was our first visit, and unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet our expectations.

We stumbled upon this place while shopping. Seems pretty clean and friendly. The wings themselves have a great flavor. The loaded fries were a big hit with the family. We ordered 4 different sauces but only liked one of them. The wings tasted great without the sauce. We liked the hot sauce flavor. The prices were reasonable. Give them a shot. Well this was a good experience for my first visit to this establishment. Sat inside at the bar top and ordered wings and beer. The bartender Parker was very entertaining to say the least. Highly recommend the cheese fries and spicy wing sauce. Will return

Stopped in for lunch while traveling through Knoxville. Great food, service, and atmosphere. I would definitely go back again.

The wings were prepared just as we requested, and the beet dish was outstanding!
