Big Papi's Real Good Tacos

After reading many recommendations on the Facebook page, 'Everything Frederick ', my girlfriend and I finally tried Big Papi 's. It was a $33 mistake. I just read a dozen reviews here and it appears as though the quality/taste of Big Papi 's is either hit or miss. Unfortunately, on this particular day, our food was the later. We ordered six carnitas tacos (using flour tortillas) along with a side of Mexican Rice Pinto Beans. When we got home we found the tortilla 's used were corn (not flour), the pulled pork was dry and tasteless and the rice beans was 'throw-it-away ' too salty. Most definitely a miss. Not recommended.

First time eating here in a while. We ordered the esquite loco on the cob with hot Cheetos, chorizo burrito, and the tinga nachos with pico de gallo, but without nacho cheese. The nachos were very disappointing in comparison to what I've had in the past from here. They were very dry, no papi sauce or guac sauce. The corn was good, however, the one complaint about the corn was that the hot Cheetos weren't a dust/crumb coating all around, but whole pieces. The whole pieces kept falling off because they were slightly dampened from the corn. The burrito was also good, but there wasn't enough cheese.

I LOOOOVE it when I call Big Papis! Holy Elotes! We ordered grub hub and it was amazing! Can't wait to go in and eat dinner. The portions were huge. We had leftovers and the Birria Pizza was well worth the price.
