Big Texas Barbeque

Been trying to get to Big Texas Bbq all summer and finally made it! A great experience for sure, we arrived fairly early so I could check out the vibe now that most of the summer crowds are gone and I'm so glad we did because there were some good feelings happening; Rick Brooks the proprietor and man who wears many hats is really friendly and generous with his time and with his venue, Cathy McLean a local business owner and Bradford fan favourite was running a Zumba class in the afternoon in an effort to showcase her dedicated students and encourage everyone to move their bodies to some pretty upbeat music Guests were dancing in the lot, it was pretty cool The food is plentiful and delicious...

For BBQ without big travel, Big Texas is a good option. There are better Q joints around the GTA, but I would be weighing the fuel and time factor against the convenience. I drove past Big Texas several times, and finally had the opportunity to pick up an order on the way home. A rack of ribs, a Dino bone, and a couple of Pulled Pork sammys set me back around $90. The ribs had a healthy bit of spice to them and a bit too much salt. In contrast, the Pulled Pork needed some extra sauce to amp up the flavour. The Dino Bone was a surprise--a big beefy bone that was tender, moist but with a thick coat of black pepper. The beans are quite flavourful, and spicier than other BBQ joints. I alway refe...

Awesome food! Had the $125.00 meal and it was so amazing. Fed 8 people easy. I just love your coleslaw. And the beans are very good. The ribs/chicken/pulled pork/sausage was delicious as usual. My family that tried all for the first time loved the pulled pork. Texas toast is a terrific addition!!

I have eaten here twice and both times it was just ordinary. The fries were dry and seemed to have been sitting and just reheated. The chicken was dry. The ribs were not great just ok. Sorry this place should rock but it's ORDINARY! Reserve uma mesa agora

Missing in action. These guys seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth. Website up but location in Bradford empty. Phone doesn't work either. Another bankruptcy????

Discovered their beef brisket and its so delicious. If you've ever had their beef ribs its the same type of black and pepper flavor and its tender! So yummy!!

I ordered the Big Texan, mac and cheese and corn bread today. It was sooo delicious. Well worth the money. We will be ordering again.
