Billiken’s is an outstanding extension of the pedigree of fine restaurants to grace the Chimney’s building in downtown Fredericksburg. Good selection of beers, outstanding variety of barbecues, even in a salad, the aroma of barbecued permeates the atmosphere, just as described. Friendly and attentive staff add to the ambiance. Outdoors dining is conducive to a relaxing, long stay. As manager for the previous Le Lafayette I am very happy to see the architectural continuity maintained and thequality of food and service enhanced. Find your way here, inside or out, and enjoy the ambiance. They can only succeed with their plans for private parties. Well done all!!

Was in Fredericksburg to deliver my daughters dog back to her. They were hungry and chose Billikens. Like a little pricey, but ehhh, not any more expensive than anywhere else. Sat on the patio and the atmosphere was great. Some music would have helped, but we just turned on Sirius. We all got something different, mac and cheese, pulled pork, jalapeno sausage, brisket, and tacos. Sides were bbq cabbage, mac and cheese, fries, and hush puppies. You get your bang for your buck. Finished up with some cornbread. Everything was delicious. Good call from my daughter.

Love the food, drinks, and atmosphere!Only issue I've had on my first visit was i went to close my tab at the bar and the bartender couldn't find it, the next day i checked my bank account and was charged a 30% gratuity. Not a huge deal for me as that's what i would've tipped either way and it was insanely busy night, but there are people out there that would make it a huge ordeal. They do have a posted sign saying walked tabs will get charged a 30% gratuity. All in all it's an awesome place. Added bonus they're dog friendly on the patio!

How doesnt this place have 5 stars? Very simply put, this is probably the best brisket ive ever had. Dont toss a coin, just order the brisket. Baked beans , great also. The dinner as a whole, 5 stars. Ive had BBQ in alot of states and places, this hands down is the winner. We sat outside, great atmosphere. We was just in for a auick overnight passing thru, may consider stopping on way home, its that good.

Food and drinks were amazing! Everything paired so well together. Im pretty picky with 25 years in the food industry, I will be back!!!
