Billy Reed's Palm Springs

I don't like to leave any facility a bad assessment. However, if they leave an assessment, it helps others to make a decision. this place should be condemned! here it goes: the moment when they enter billy reeds restaurant, they know that something is wrong. it smells bad and looks the same! it was built at some point in the 70s and it is finished in reproduction glass everywhere. it is on the bar, hanging lamps and in this massive restaurant. the club chairs, bar and trim are dark stained oak and very depressing. the carpet is from the same time and looks old. now is the food gassing! my gassing and I ordered two arnold palmers. one came with icy, the other glass was limonade. we always go to palm springs when we visit the family in ca. today, when we drove out of town, discovered billy reeds restaurant. what a beautiful place. the food was boiled to perfection and the salad was cold and the main meal was hot. large varied menu for all in our Fussy group. desserts were also fresh and excellent with a great variety. service was absolutely fantastic lupita (spels wrong I am sure) was fun and informatiw. was worth the price.

This is my new (even though it's been around for decades) favorite breakfast place in Palm Springs. The decor is magnificent, the service is impeccable, and the food is delicious. The setting is quite beautiful at the base of the mountain, and the location is convenient and easy to access. I'll go back every time I'm in town. Plenty of accessible parking, and the restaurant is accessible.

we dined here every day on our 8 day second trip this year to palm springs,we allways found something to suit our requirements,we love to eat at the bar and listen to the banter between the bar staff and the waiters while ejoying a drink with the meal,we will be back in june next year,thanks for the excellant food and entertainment.

amazing old school decoration. prime rib was so good. our server was very attentive how busy they were on a Saturday night. make sure they save space for cake! lemon meringue was crazy!
