Birichino Cucina & Pizzeria

Ordered 3 pizzas from here tonight and unfortunately I cannot understand the hype behind it. Recently moved into the area and this seemed to be the best around according to a few reviews. All 3 pizzas the dough was tough with very little sauce. Ingredients were spread out super unevenly and the boxes themselves were leaking with oil/grease. Hoping they were just having an off night but personally, and I don’t like saying this as I do like to support independent businesses but the dominoes down the road had better quality pizza.

Horrible.Ordered the Beef Ragu Tagliatelle. Might as well have been a spag bowl. Tagliatelle is supposed to be wide shoelace pasta, this was narrow and instead of a slow cooked beef, it was tasteless beef mince mush. Might as well have come from a can.The Caprese Salad had zero seasoning.Only half decent thing was the Cannoli although when I called to place the order, the woman had no idea what the difference was between Cannoli and the Sicilian Cannoli which were both offered on their menu.Won't be back.

They had a really good pizza and decent calamari, though I wish the calamari had a better dipping sauce than what tasted like just mayo, or if it had more seasonings, it was too plain.The staff were super friendly and helpful when we asked for things.Good atmosphere in the restaurant but their toilet did not have baby changing facilities which was inconvenient for our family.

Ordered bruschetta with 2 pizzas on Sunday and tried to get a refund for the poor quality bruschetta, but unfortunately feel on deaf ears. Not the first time this has happened. What's happened to you guys? Used to be so good.

Just had the most fantastic authentic Italian meal. The home made pasta was superb risotto was perfect. Highly recommend this place for quality Italian food great service.
