Bistro Ristoro - Reservar mesa

I was in Ottawa 7 days for a conference. I was looking for a Mediterranean place where I could limit the amount of dairy intake, and I was very happy to find Bistro Ristoro. The restaurant, on Clarence Street, is right across from the main United States embassy entrance after Fairouz Cafe. It is a relatively small place, but does offer some outside seating. They have Santorini or Jazz music playing inside, yet the mood is rather quiet. Out of the 7 days, I ate dinner there 4 times. The Picanha steak dish was excellent and reminded me of my grandma's very good cooking; the dish comes with rock salt and cajun spices on the side which I definitely recommend using, but the steak still tastes gre...

Our first visit to Bistro Ristoro. The menu is very interesting and we chose the Halloumi salad to share, as well as individual pizzas. We really enjoyed the food and service was excellent. The only downside was a group of 7 (5 adults and 2 children, one of whom yelled or screamed almost the whole time they were there) who sat right beside us (we sat inside as the patio was busy...we were the only couple inside the restaurant until this group arrived). If the food and service hadn't been so good...

If you want to eat well made dishes, this place is amazing! Everything that we tried was spot on. From the pizza, which is baked in brick oven, to the meat dishes that they have.Here's some dishes that I'm recommending: Veal XL burger trust me on this one. Chicken Marsala perfectly grilled chicken meat with mushrooms and white source. Pizza, just order anyone you want and you will not be disappointed.Picanha steak we tried the medium rare and it was perfect!

This restaurant is absolutely wonderful! It is cozy, and has so many wonderful options to choose from. Their pizza is delicious, and their veal burger is the best option on the menu. Their service is also wonderful, as they catered specifically to all of my grandmothers needs, even though she uses a wheelchair. This place is wonderful for both a family outing or a date! This is definitely one of the best pizza places that I have ever been to in Ontario, and I mean it! The owner was amazing and was really passionate talking about the ingredients and how this pizza is a one of a kind that makes it one of the best. Matthew was amazing and made the experience even better. Definitely will be coming back the next time I come back to Ottawa, without any doubt!

This restaurant in Ottawa is one of the best! The food is authentic Balkan and the flavors are amazing. The service is fantastic, with the owners always there to chat, provide good suggestions, or simply welcome you warmly. They recently introduced a new dish, Cornbread Chicken Casserole (see attached photo), and the quality of it is hard to describe. I highly recommend this place!

Visited Bistro Ristoro for the first time yesterday and it will definitely be on our list of places to dine at when visiting Ottawa. Our server Matejo was superb. Our food was delicious and the portions generous. .Vlado and his team will not disappoint. Thank you for a most satisfying meal and enjoyable dining experience! Absolutely in love with this restaurant, the amazing food (especially the pljeskavica/XL burger , warm atmosphere and the lovely people working!!! We drove from Montreal to eat here and it was completely worth it! I highly recommend!! Cannot wait to go back : Reserve uma mesa agora

It’s a hidden gem in downtown Ottawa, and owned by an Italian couple who are very friendly. If you are carving a good wood oven pizza, this is the place! I highly recommend their carbonara, and it won’t let you down.

Truly amazing. The service, food, and place. The food is super tasty, the people working are very kind the place is very clean and cozy. Loved it!
