Bistrot Des Combes

Ate at this fabulous restaurant after doing a search on google for the nearest restaurant. We were very warmly welcomed and the food was exquisite. The building used to be the village school and the decor inside reflects this. The owners are husband and wife, he is the chef and she is front of house. They took over the restaurant in July this year, so any bad reviews you may see from before this time are from the previous owners. If you are in the area it is a must for you to eat here.

We loved this place. The welcome was warm, the service was appropriately attentive and the food was so French well prepared, seasoned and tasty. The team even put on the rugby match on the big screen outside and when it got a little chilly, we went indoors. We could see they were finishing up for the evening and said we 'd go but they almost insisted we remain to the end of the match. This is a lovely rural place that has a great outside area for children to play in.

in a setting but auvergnat, the welcome is friendly. Moreover the very worked and very gourmet cuisine. a frequentable place for contempt.
