BJ Teriyaki House & Waffles

We decided to try BJ Teriyaki for Dinner - and enjoyed the Sushi and Bibimbap (Korean) very much - especially the Korean hot sauce served alongside the Bibimbap. The next morning we are back for breakfast. They serve a good traditional breakfast for under $10. Coffee was delicious. When I asked the waitress about the Korean hot sauce we enjoyed the night before, and said if they sold it, I would be happy to buy some, she came back with a small complimentary container for me to enjoy at home... What friendly service!!! We did not have room to try one of their waffles, but it seemed to be a hit with a few tables around us.

When you first walk in this log cabin style restaurant you expect to be confronted with a menu featuring thick moose steaks and roasted wild turkey. The fact that the menu is almost entirely Asian is a surprise, but nowhere near the surprise that you will receive when you actually enjoy the food. It's nothing short of wonderful! The sushi is fresh, the rice properly cooked and seasoned, the rolls artfully prepared, and the bibimbap made me think I might have been back in Seoul instead of a tiny blink-and-you-miss-it town in Southern Alberta.It's by far the best place to dine in Fort MacLeod, so don't miss it!

Yeah, what a surprise in the humble town of Fort McLeod - a friendly, spacious woodsy-looking place with Korean owners who cook their food, japanese food, and waffles. Licenced, with some ok beer selections.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover this restaurant. The sushi is delicious, prices are fair, and the service is exceptional. I will definitely be returning frequently.

The restaurant is now located 2 blocks from 7th Avenue and is open for a delicious breakfast! I tried the Berry Nice waffle and it was fantastic.
