Black Mountain Bistro

I had the klucking kylie, new sandwich on the menu with fried chicken, grilled sourded, honey scab and some grilled tweepers. that was the right bit of joy I was looking for today. the sourded was nicely broken and the chicken was roasted to perfection. the outside seats are really nice, the staff was all friendly and smiling. busy, but not crowded. that was a commemorative, so I expected it to be too busy. only that was the Cole smart that just tasted like mayo. I prefer a little more zang and tang, a little salt and peppa added and it was better.

Quaint little bistro in the heart of the downtown area. The building has a welcoming lodge feel. Love the glass enclosed sunroom seating. Lots of great healthy meal choices. The butternut squash soup was the best we've ever had, with a thick texture so you new it was freshly made. Our family had a variety of sandwiches, all delicious, and the bread options were fabulous, and include gluten free. Would love to come back and enjoy the outdoor seating and fire pits.

Macy the hostess was working her tail off. She never took a minute. Luca the server was efficient and friendly. My dad and I had the shrimp and grits the fried green tomatoes and a lovely Caesar salad. The food was very good. This restaurant stays busy so be ready for the wait. There’s a nice waiting area and a park with my grandmothers brick in it! Just enjoy this little town! Now go home and take somebody with ya! Just kidding I think.

Wonderful tasty food for our lunch stop! Huge portions of fried zucchini fries and fried green tomatoes!! Huge salad portions as well, very fresh. Ate outside since weather was so comfortable, but many tables inside as option too. Clean restroom. Stop in and enjoy when you are in the area!!

Wow! What a gem. Beautiful porch and patio seating; amazing salads and veggie options; nice staff. Fantastic healthy lunch for less than a burger and shake at a fast food place.
