A great date night! My husband and I went to Black Rooster and loved it. The food, the staff, and the ambiance were all wonderful. The steak was cooked to perfection with great flavor along with the fries and salad. I ate the entire dish! My husband got the spicy Nashville chicken sandwich, and no tears were shed, though the waiter did warn us of how hot it was. It had good flavor and quality meat. The ambiance was perfect for a date night. Not too loud, but a good crowd and friendly staff.
Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. I had heard good things about Black Rooster and was excited to try. I had the market fish (flounder) that was exceptional. My father had the steak and brother the nashville hot chicken sandwich (which lived up to the hype it’s HOT) that was deep fried to southern perfection. The bartender was able to make my favorite cocktail that wasn’t on the menu and our server was wonderful. I can’t wait to come back again!
The bartenders are amazing such artisans with thier crafts. They are excellent with explaining describing various menu options. The food is amazing. The chef really knows how to make a meal. It 's a unique inviting atmosphere. Lively but not overestimulating. Fancy but not sterile. Crafty but not eccentric. It 's a true melding of French-ish quisine Columbia spirit.
What an awesome experience! We’ve heard great things so we decided to check it out for date night. Our server, Marley, was an absolute delight and very knowledgeable about the menu and also provided great recommendations. The food was delicious and the cocktails are out of this world!!
