Blacksmith's Arms - Reservar uma mesa

I enjoyed a delightful lunch here today complimented by a good glass of nicely chilled wine. I chose the steak and ale pie which was delicious as were the chips although the veg was slightly over done for my taste. The service was friendly and fairly prompt considering how busy they were, including our bus trip. I also indulged in a Bakewell tart with ice cream which didn't deliver the standard of the pie, sorry. I followed my meal with a pot of very good tea served in a pot which was sufficient for 2 cups. We had lunchtime at the Blacksmiths, very pleasant service but I got the wrong meal, as I would have to wait I accepted the meat dinner even though I ordered fish, the waitress was very present so we let it go, it wasn't as nice as I would have liked, the sweet was delicious and well presented. It could have been better, we are trying to support local businesses as times are hard. Price per person: £40–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
