Blue Bell Inn - Reservar uma mesa

We turned up very damp after a long walk with two small dogs. It was mid week and midday, so quiet. We were greeted by a warm, clean, friendly environment. The hospitality from Geoff was outstanding and good chat about the rugby. We ordered drinks and a sandwich each. Well what a sandwich, I don’t think I have ever seen one like it. It was enormous, stuffed full with beautiful homemade fish fingers. There were treats for the dogs too. If we had not had to catch the bus home, we would have stayed there all afternoon. Will definitely return to try other things on the menu. Thank you Geoff and to the chef. Please don’t leave this place, it would not be the same without you.

After walking from Buckden to Kettlewell, we decided to treat ourselves to a nice lunch and drink at the Blue Bell. The outdoor seating in the sun was wonderful, and we ordered two double gins and tonics, a glass of white wine, and a pint of bitter. The bartender warned us it would be pricey, but we were surprised by the £43.00 total. Despite the high drink prices, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The pub itself is charming, the staff friendly, and the quality of the food and drinks was excellent. However, the expensive drinks may deter us from returning, as there are other nearby pubs to choose from.

During our two-night stay with our two dogs, we found the staff to be incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food at the restaurant was excellent, offering typical traditional pub fare. The only downside was that our room was very small, with limited space for our belongings. However, the room was clean, met our needs, and we quickly adjusted to navigating around our dogs and bags. Overall, we would recommend this place.

Very friendly welcome. Lovely bar/restaurant area and the twin room was very nice. Food was excellent I had probably the best “steak and ale pie” I’ve ever had). Kimberley was an excellent host, very friendly and always smiling. Can’t wait to come back in February

The food at this restaurant was incredible. I was thoroughly impressed by the great atmosphere, which truly captured the essence of a traditional English pub. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were just right.
