Blufin Sushi Izakaya Grill

I was in the local area searching for a sushi restaurant and found Blufin. We ordered their dinner Nigiri and a california roll in the same bundle. You can tell the prices were sharpied out and written in to indicate new prices.They added extra charges for food and increased the prices by as much as 30% from original prices. Is this due to inflation? Post-covid issues? However, you'd expect the quality to go up or atleast remain the same right? Wrong. The lettuce we got for our side came out discolored and brown as if it was sitting out all day. The nigiri were warm and had nothing but a piece of fish on the rice (no sign of rice vinegar). The rice on the california roll was hard and crispy....

Absolute best vegan sushi you will find anywhere. Before Blufin, we never even considered getting sushi after becoming vegan. Now we have been coming here for years and it is our favorite treat. We've even tried places out of town, like Carmel and others, and nothing compares. The owner is very friendly and attentive and the food is always perfect. I hope they stay in business and thrive for a long time.

I have followed Jimmy, the owner since the days of Sushi Culture. I went in today for lunch and sat by myself at a table. Jimmy invited me to sit at the bar while he made my rolls. It made me feel very welcomed as we caught up with family and business.Squidward is my new favorite and the Salmon Skin roll is always a favorite for me. I plan on making Bluefin back into an regular stop again.

Food was bland. Chicken and steak wasn't juicy just dry with no sauce. Ask for steak to be medium rare and it came well done , more like congratulations you ruined the steak. Small portions for 2 plates that came out to 60$ . Never again

Ok, this is the best sushi I've ever had! Ngl. The ambience is pretty nice, could be a little better. The service is really good, 9/10. The place could be a little more organized; but if we're talking food. Amazing!
