I absolutely love a place that has misters and really great tables as soon as you get there. This famous diner has been around for quite a while it’s so famous because Roy Orbison actually had his own booth there… The recording studio right behind the restaurant was home to many famous bands and they had to have a place to eat so they naturally came here. I came to Bobby's years ago when it was great. Now they need a little love and inspiration. The good thing is they have terrace seats. The disadvantage: Bobby is no longer serving waffles. The menus here and on their website show a complete list of waffles options. I was in a waffle mood today. So I was disappointed when the menu they gave me had no waffles. The server confirmed that they no longer use waffles. That's why I ordered Lachs-Benedict. It was fresh, but the taste was missing. Also, I let the server know that they need to do a better job of cleaning. My table was sticky with jam that stuck on my wrist. This was my dad's favorite breakfast place. Service is friendly and efficient. Food is good diner faire. I love the decor inside. This day we ate on the patio. Traffic from Ventura Blvd was really loud. That was the only problem, and not something they control. Oh if you park in front on the street, be aware the curb is really high.

Fun to watch the ballet of the staff. The awesome part was how nicely they all made things work. We sat at the counter so we had a great view. Blt was huge and yummy fries. Will definitely return!

My go to Breakfast Spot when in the area. Amazing hospitality and service. Food is excellent and everything is very tasty. 5 Stars.
