Bonchon Crofton - Reservar uma mesa

I have been to several Bonchon restaurants in the last few years and everytime I'm disappointed. I believe this last visit to the Crofton location is my final attempt. The food was terrible. I ordered the soy garlic boneless wings and a side of kimchi. The wings had no garlic flavor, they tasted like bad frozen chicken bites with minimal sauce that had way too much salt. I love Korean food and kimchi is one of my favorites, the kimchi I received with my order was barely spicy and didn't taste like it was properly fermented. In short the food was terrible. I?ve been going to this location for years. But recently they changed the strips to regular DRY chicken tenders, similar to what you can get in the supermarket freezer section. I?m very disappointed. I won?t order from Bonchon again unless they bring back their previous chicken strips. Time to find a new Korean fried chicken spot. Luckily, there are plenty of options in my area.

First time here got tenders and garlic fries. The fries were so good I ate then first and got full they gave me so many lol. Heated up the chicken next day (I took a bite the day I got it cause I wanted to try it) it was still as good as the first day. I've never had chicken that was just as good the next day when you heat it up.

It was my first time visiting this one. Service was quick, waited about 15 minutes for the food. Took it to go. As you can see in the picture there is no inside seating due to Covid. Food was fresh and tasted good. I'll be back to visit.

The spicy Korean fried chicken is excellent. I like the pickled daikons, they provide some cooling with the spice. The other dishes are tasty as well.
