Cozy Dining on the Bank of Mighty Mississippi<br/ <br/ I must admit that we were surprised to find such an excellent restaurant in such a relatively small town. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. I had a filet mignon and my wife had salmon. Both dishes were extremely well prepared and served hot. <br/ <br/ The owner stopped by and we discovered that after a life of globetrotting and entrepreneurship this restaurant is his way of expressing his love and appreciation for the good fortune. Restaurant Lounge. Girls night out started in the gorgeous lounge. Beautiful wine selection and atmosphere. Dinner was equally wonderful. The Blue Bell- Center Cut Filet topped with blue cheese cream sauce and a portabella mushroom was cooked perfectly. The Muddy Dog chowder was delicious and the desserts are a must have. We shared the Carrot Cake drizzled with caramel, Andes Mint chocolate cake and the Creme Brulee. Truly some of the best desserts I have ever had! Thank you Michael Kathy for the wonderful night out and a superb dining experience, we will be back...soon!
