Our first visit. NEVER AGAIN ! Checkout card reader faulty. Assistant stated that is not a proper card when it stated SWIPE YOUR CARD tried 3 different cards all with same result. The reader was not fixed down and was moving all over the place.Thats not the worst problem. Its the supercilious nature of the staff from the checkout person to her supervisor (who was worse) and the to a lesser extent the manager. None of which had any people skills.Its obviously the type they employ

This cafe is in desperate need of a revamp. Most of the staff are quite slow and seem oblivious to their tasks, such as clearing tables promptly. There is a lack of friendly conversation and smiles among the staff. The process of waiting for coffees is strange and unnecessarily lengthy. It would be more convenient if they were brought directly to the table. Overall, the cafe lacks any atmosphere.

We visited The Opposite restaurant for the weekend and decided to have Sunday breakfast at their café. Another table took our order (we ordered the speck butty) and the manager was extremely helpful. They brought us fresh food and even offered us extra coffee. The service was excellent and we hope that others who visit also enjoy their breakfast.

We tried to order sausage and chips for lunch and were told that chips were only for take away. I then asked if we could order hash browns and told yes, so I ordered a portion of them and when the meal arrived there was one hash brown on the plate. I would not lunch here again and instead of enjoy a cake afterwards, we went somewhere else. Reserve uma mesa agora

I absolutely love Booths, so we made sure to stop by for a cup of tea after most other places had closed in town. They have a great selection of drinks, snacks, and larger meals. The breakfast was delicious, as well as the cake. There is plenty of parking available, and there's an Aldi next door too.

The menu is extensive and the food is delicious. The vegetarian options are high-quality and tasty. However, the selection of gluten-free food is lacking. There are limited options for those looking for veg/gluten-free meals. The pastries are decadent but are on the pricier side.

I have no complaints, overall the service was good although it could have been a bit quicker. They offer a nice selection of drinks, including seasonal specials like pumpkin spiced latte.

Afternoon tea for 2. Plenty to eat and as a booths card holder very good value for money at £12.50, 3 rounds of sandwiches, 2 scones with jam and cream, with a selection of small cakes. Reserve uma mesa agora

Called off for breakfast on way home from the lakes. Food was lovely. Also bought some bits in store. Often call in when up here

great service and all you can wish for even got our Lancashire Sauce here! Cafe was very busy but great selection
