The boat house on Lake Dieksee, as the name suggests, is located in Bad Malente directly on the Dieksee in beautiful Holstein Switzerland. The fishing and the boathouse has developed an attractive gastronomy. The farm is cut by the promenade and consists of the rustic fishing hut and on the lake side of the cozy boat hall and the covered lake terrace. The staff is always friendly and really always dedicated to the guest. After a sunny hiking walk we enter the Boat Hall and find a free table right on the water side. We had Seelachs for dinner. After we had asked the waiter about the portions we decided to order klein portion. This portion looked like a normal portion for us. It was served together with a mustardsauce. The meal tadted really good. Staff was very kind and friendly with a smile on their lips. Rsetaurant is located with a nice view over the sea, The only bad thing with the restaurant was that smoking was allowed.

Comfort food and view. We desided to have lunch here because it was next to our hotel. The food was ok; kinda what you would expect for a typical fastfood restaurant.. Though a bit expensive in my perspective you pay for the view as well. The door to the restaurant kept opening and closing every few minutes and it was freezing outside

We arrived at 12:26 and they would not accept our negative COVID test from the day before because there was no time on the test result. Clearly there are restaurants who didn’t battle through lockdown and can afford to turn away good money. They lose because the restaurant 5 minutes away benefited and the food, ambiance was great. This restaurant has the out most swift and friendly service you can ever ask for! Drinks are ordered at seating, and the food is served as fast as you could ever ask for! The cuisine is genuine German and some local specialities as well. Pricing is fair. The restaurant is neatly kept and always clean and ready for new guests!

We had such a great experience dining here reasonable prices and very yummy german dishes. Service was also impeccable. Tried to return the next night but sadly it was closed it was a Monday. Will definitely return next winter.
