I dined at Boston Pizza last night with my brother and his friend. As someone who has Celiac Disease, eating out can be a risky experience for me. However, I was only in town for a short time and wanted to treat them to dinner and a movie. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the staff and management handled my dietary restrictions. Our waitress was knowledgeable about gluten-free options on the menu and the manager even personally came out to explain why my food was taking longer due to cross-contamination. We were here on Father's Day and it was incredibly busy. Although the waitress was very friendly the service was just ok, likely due to understaffing. Although it seemed to take much too long for our food to be served it was good, what you would expect from a chain.Concern we had was that the restaurant was not that clean. The initial look of the restaurant was good but when you looked with a more critical eye it was in obvious need of a good cleaning. There was a less than acceptable amount of dust on the dividers/seats separating tables and the floors needed a good vacuuming. The worst was the light fixtures which had an unacceptable amount of dust/grime, they definitely had not been clean...
We had an amazing experience at this restaurant on Tuesday, March 22nd for a late lunch around 3PM. It was our first time in 2 years taking our toddler out in public to eat as a family. The server, whose name we unfortunately did not get, was absolutely lovely. She was very attentive to our toddler's antics and went out of her way to accommodate us. Her kindness truly made the experience enjoyable. The service was top-notch and the food was hot and tasty. We highly recommend this location!
Looking for a spot to have a quick bite and a beer after a day of work with new folks. Good selection of foods and a fair assortment of traditional beers. Quick and attentive service with lots of smiles. Beer arrived quickly and food arrived in a timely manner after ordering. This BP's is normal for the franchise. The food and furnishings are what you would expect, except that the lounge was not separated from the family side by a wall like most. Instead the lounge is centralized on a raised floor. This makes the televisions visible to all. The restaurant was clean and while parking around the building was tight there is a large mall parking lot beside it.
Tuesday is pasta night, I had the lasagna and a starter ceaser salad. Salad was out to table within minutes, crisp lettuce ,crunchy croutons, enough bacon bits, not too much dressing. One salad was enough for the two of us. Wife had the jambalaya it was also worth the money with enough left over for lunch today. With drinks (2 beer) $45 out the door.
We just had a fantastic evening with our 4 kids. Our server (Manno) was very quick and efficient with all of our needs. Food was out quickly and tasted great! All very generous portions. Very friendly staff coming in and out. Very impressed with the service this evening. Thanks very much!
