My first Thai food experience was here at their previously smaller location in Chinatown over ten years ago. This location is much larger and beautifully decorated.It was great to see Boualuong still in business after the pandemic where many others have not reopen. They are a mom and pop shop who quietly work diligently over the years dishing out some amazing food. A friend of mine said that service is a big part of the dining experience but I tend not to care about the server's attitude or things they say, just as long as I am not waiting. The food came fast despite being told it might be slow because there were 5 of us and they did not expect many people with one cook. I thought about leaving after first coming in because the staff was not welcoming at all and even suggested that maybe I was in the wrong place. That was a bit weird. Excellent food and service for a decent price! Both myself and my companion really enjoyed our dishes (green curry with chicken, fish entree respectively) and portions were generous.
