Bowen Pies - Reservar mesa

I have been a loyal customer of Bowens since they first started in Babylon Lane Adlington, so I have extensive experience with their products. Their whist pies are excellent, unmatched by any others, but I have noticed a decline in quality since they moved to the Chorley bakery. The whist pies seem to be missing the juice or jelly that used to accompany them. Additionally, the meat and potato pies often have undercooked potatoes, leading me to leave many pies unfinished. I would appreciate it if they could provide a list of chip shops that sell their steak puddings, as my usual shop no longer offers them without explanation.

We recently got sent a recommendation for Bowen Pies via family friend on Facebook. We don't live locally to Chorley, but are passionate Manchester City supporters we didn't know they do a Manchester City pie box. That aside, we ordered our pie box online, delivery was prompt and all goods extremely carefully packed. This was our first experience of Bowen Pies, and wechose chicken balti from our selection box. Only way to describe it is epic. Lovely spicy filling and melt in the mouth pastry! These are award winning pies, just checkout their website. Highly recommended. We will be back for more, guaranteed.

Where’s the jelly gone in the pork pie’s??? Bowen still put the jelly in in some there other shops, but not in Chorley. So pork pies are dry and not very good from here. Won’t be returning as this is described in there recipes. Sort it out Chorley. Used to be excellent

Being a bit of a pie aficionado I regularly seek out pies that claim to be the best ever. I’ve even been to the best pie restaurant in the county but nothing compares to Bowen’s. Their whist pies are a special treat superb pastry. And now online! Reserve uma mesa agora

I ordered the cheese and onion pie. The portion size was larger than average, but the pastry was thick. Unfortunately, there was very little cheese filling, with more pastry than filling. I was very disappointed.

While the pies are delicious, the cost of a single pie is outrageous. Ordering three pies with delivery added up to nearly £20. This will be the first and last time I order online from this restaurant.

Can’t believe I’ve only just found this place. Got some pasty’s and cheese and onion pies and they were fantastic. Great pastry, plenty of tasty filling and up there with the best pies you’ll ever eat.

Been here before quite a few times,always good.decided to sit in I had buttered pie my other half had meat and potato. and 2 coffees. Spotlessly clean and not expensive great! Reserve uma mesa agora
