Brasserie de Hotel de Ville

The restaurant splits between the front on the main square avec traffic, the interior, and the rear patio area in a quiet pedestrian precinct (which is where we sat under much needed sun shades). The food was good and not expensive (plat du jour €8.00). Lunchtime was very busy, almost all the diners were local office workers, always a good sign. Parking in the main square opposite the restaurant is free during the lunch hours 12 to 2. Disabled access is fine to the front and rear patio areas but not so for the loos. A limited but varied menu, plenty of salads et all plus 'moules frites ' when in season..recommended.

We came here as La Petite Auberge was shut (without any warning, tried to phone...must be a Monday thing, but no explanation) as was L'Entracte. So we wandered across the road to this brasserie which was packed with locals having their aperitifs. We had a superb meal, which both of us thoroughly enjoyed. The tarte flambees (made fresh on-site) were delicious, as was my poulet fricassee. The staff were friendly and attentive. This place is simple yet under-rated in our view.

My husband and I visited this restaurant for lunch and had the three course menu for 12 euros. The restaurant is very spacious and stylish. Nice staff, very pleasant and efficient, food well presented and tasty. Couldn't fault anything. Well frequented by the french. Very good value and would return hopefully to sit outside in the square on a nice day.

Great place to spend a pleasant time with family, friends or colleagues, the bar, the restaurant... everything is nickel.

A pleasant setting to enjoy a small drink. The welcome is warm. I advise the eyes closed
