Brasserie La Drave

during our time in the game we wanted a restaurant type cage to the sport to take a beer and eat a good burger. The drave turned out to be the ideal place for $40, we had an entrance, a hearty meal, which was said by the way was excellent, and 4 beers! On the other hand, our server was much too friendly, and told us how the other customers had slowed it down and in short, its soul states. I meet friends here to watch sports Hockey games, football games. Big screen affordable beer great menu considering it is classified roadhouse. The fish is excellent South west burger is a favorite. Good food great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Avoid this as a destination if you want to watch a game on a Friday night or Saturday night. DJ comes in and draws a younger crowd, great for them but makes following the game a challenge.

This was our fourth visit to La Drave in the last year. We can count on good food. The service is up and down but at this visit we had an attentive server who got everything right. I enjoyed a burger on a pretzel bun...with a nice serving of cabbage salad and nice, hot fries. My husband ordered a delicious plate of pork hops. We will be back!

Dined here on 20180727. Order Escargots at only $ 6,00 and 1/2 lbs. from Ailes (Chicken Wings) at $ 7,00. Both dishes were very delicious and just the right amount. Is a local sports bar scene with locals. Walking distance from several hotels. Would definitely return... next time in Gatineau.

Good atmospher, entertainment on week end. food simple, ample and good. Some half portions if your not to hungry or eldely. Specials on buckets of beer interntional or domestic. Good service and patio on warmer days. friendly staff and owner.
